CARLY OBD Scanner

Hi all, I’m new to this forum so please bear with me.
My wife and myself bought a 2019 T6 Shuttle Bus back in December and the engine light has popped up, the son-in-law has a basic OBD scanner which has identified a P0420 which is helpful, I now know which sensor may be at fault and will attempt to tackle that.
Sorry to blab on but the reason for this post is to ask if anybody has heard or know if the CARLY OBD scanner is any good, I have read through it and it sounds good for the price, not knowing much about them so hoping you peeps would be able to advise. Thanks.

They’re all much of a muchness between Carly, Carista and OBD11.
OBD11 is probably the more advanced but not by much.

If you’re serious and want to do more things to your van in the future then VCDS is worth the investment, especially if you’ve got other VAG cars.

If you just want it for simple diagnostics and some other features, just buy a generic Bluetooth ODB2 adapter off eBay/Amazon and get the ‘CarScanner’ app. It’s free with ads or a pittance to buy and it’s brilliant.
