This Leisuredrive conversion is new to me and I don't know what this switch does. Can you tell me what it does?

It disables your alarm system allowing you to lock the van when your'e inside. However, don't believe the handbook instructions for operating it.
Our handbook stated open any door then press the button, then close the door and lock the vehicle. It only works in our van when you open the drivers door.

Was going to say the same thing.
Open the driver door, can just open it a touch from the inside, press the button, you will see it change colour.
More useful on a pop top, I often enable it when the roof is up and we leave the van, especially in windy weather.
Or in most other cars from around the late 90's up until the touchscreen generation to be fair.
