Can you code in a battery with Carista

Can you code in a new starter battery with Carista as the starter battery on our T6.1 isn’t holding charge anymore,

How did you get on coding the battery with carista? I've just picked up a '22 T6 and I think it needs a new battery.

I managed it with Carista but had loads of fault codes but if I remember after a drive out the faults cleared.

With my 2018 T6 I could use Carista to tell it the size of the battery but couldn’t specify battery type - old one was EFB but new one was AGM. That said, I carried on anyway and I don’t think the van has suffered because of it. I also contacted Carista who told me that it didn’t matter.

Hi @gti_james , welcome to the forum! What symptoms is your starter battery showing? Do you have any gadgetry to display the voltage? Is it suitably charged?
