Can Someone Direct Me To Fitting Interior Led Lights In My Van Roof Build

Hi im aftrr being directed to fitting my own down lights in my van ,im busy sounddeadning bit need to find out correct wire to use and direct it to the holes to be cut for the lights.
Im.trying to do most of build myself but theres things ill get the pros to do.

Yes pauly im doing full conversion , im about to sound deadn the roof and carpet the roof panels but i need to cut holes and put the correct wiring in place , but cant find a thread for it.
Im doing it in stages and correct me if im wrong but before i carpet i need to know where all the electrical fitting are to be cut ut of the board before i carpet the panels.

I will be eventually fitting a leisure battery but i need all the wires to go to there or where ever they go , i will get auto electrician to power everything up but trying to cut cost by doing a lot myself.
