Camping Du Letty campsite, Brittany, France - review

Hi,
myself and wife are due to visit the site 1st week in August with our 14 Year daughter and 17 year son. I've already asked about bike hire but what day visits do you recommend- we have a dog as well

thanks

Benodet is a 10 minute cycle ride. It has a number of shops, bars and restaurants, and a lovely beach in a safe bay for paddle boards and swimming. Quimper (pronounced Kemper) is under 30 minutes by van, and apparently really lovely. We didn’t go but it will be on our list for this years trip.

Many thanks, lots of people have mentioned this. Worth a visit then

Love france and looking to do more each year so recommendations are great  very much appreciated.
It's just a shame a lot of france is closed for winter as that's the only time we get to go .

Hello @Bigsidavies, we are off to southern Brittany in a few weeks time, this time staying at l’Atlantic a few miles from Benodet.

We want to go to the Glenan Isles and I wondered where you get the boat/ferry from? Any other tips I should know? Thanks. Nick

I booked online and got the boat direct from the little pier in Benodet.
You are there for a full day so take beach stuff and a cool bag with wine/beer and a picnic as the eateries are back near the little harbour drop off/pick up point so you wouldn’t want to walk back for a snack.

Thank you so much @Bigsidavies. That’s very helpful.

Duly noted re the wine and beer!
