Camping Chairs

Need a couple of camping chairs for use with our SWB t6. Got a couple of vango ones which are comfy but seem to take up a lot of space. Any suggestions for others to look at?

We've just bought a pair of Helinox Sunset chairs from Alpinetrek. They're expensive, but Alpinetrek are selling red ones at a big discount - £89.63 apiece.
Comfortable, well-made, lightweight and fold down very small.

Basecampgear.co.uk are doing them for 67 quid at the mo. They're very comfortable.

Have you tried the rocking chair rockers? I'm quite tempted to get a pair.

We have ones similar to these. Brilliant and very small so easily hidden away.

If you want to sit in them for hour and hours I would say not as comfy as £100+ chairs, but good enough for 1/2hrs at a time with a bum break.


I bought ours from Germany as I'm in Spain and much cheaper than ordering from UK!!

Another vote for the vanshades ChairPod. Tailgate and barn door versions available. Not cheap but an excellent bit of kit.
