Got my renewal notice from Howdens/Thatcham as we were walking around the Camping & Caravan show recently. It had gone up £50 from last year. We came across their stand and they collared me asking if they could quote me. I’d just been had by Safeguard and the C&MC insurance stands, so I said to Howdens that if they quoted me what I’d paid last year, I’d take it, they did and I did. £50 quid is better in my pocket. £464

Im just starting to look around. £39000 camper by Camperking, 9000miles. Its got a tracker, ghost immobiliser and me and the missus have no convictions, are old but i had a claim almost five years ago and the camper is parked at home on a short private bit of road. Quotes so far £1300 to £600. Need to keep calling companies.

IIRC the Ghost system doesnt have Thatcham approval so insurers are unlikely to be impressed enough to give a discount for it.
