C Pillar TV mounting

I know there is a fair few B pillar mounts and brackets which use pre-existing holes. But anyone mounted a TV bracket to the C pillar and have a recommendation for a bracket.

Using an Avtex 19" but would like it to sit flush to the wall when not in use, but have a little adjustment away from the wall if in use.

Also fitting it, would it be better to use some rivnuts ? Or is there holes available on the C pillar. The van is already converted/carpeted.

We have the same telly and have it in the same location your talking about ....personally find it too close to view properly.
Yes to rivnuts and I'll have to look at what bracket it is .

Yeah we've got a drivers seat head rest mount currently, but the TV in this instance is only in our day/adventure van not the camper, so the arrangement and postioning is more for the 9 year old to chill on the day bed or me to dive in there on a saturday if we are away to watch the football as the headrest mount now gets in the way of our bikes. So not used for camping as such.

Awesome thank you, I’ve just seen the compact version of that which I think will suit my needs more ( although less adjustment )

I have to keep the pivot bolts quite tight on the arms otherwise it works loose and moves when i'm driving (which freaks the dog out ) if you want any more pics then give me a shout .

Hi All,

I'm planning to mount a bracket (A Scanscrut...) RLS-508-401 SCREW-DOWN Rokk-Mini Mount for Power Boat

Its a lightweight bracket and the fixing is ideally screwed/bolted by 4 bolts....it will only hold a tablet that we can watch.

So my question is : - I'd like to riv nut it to the upper half of the B Pillar (drivers side), does anyone know if there is anything behind there before I merrily drill four holes and riv nut them.

Can't see it being much of a problem, got our C02 alarm screwed into ours

If using Rivnuts into the C Pillar above the top seat belt loop, is there anything behind I should be aware of , ie wiring
