While the advert helpfully describes the "exceptional performance" and tell us that it is "environmentally friendly" it doesn't mention service history, unless I missed it.
Do you know if there is a service history with the van?

Yeah, the advert is quite generic (probably AI)!

I've asked them for more details - service history, last service, if they knew what the van was previous used for, etc. Waiting for a response.

Looks a nice van, apart from the colour it's absolutely identical mine, same age, spec and model. Really love mine. I bought mine last year from Johnstones VW Van Centre in Bilston mine was £6000+vat more but only 24,000 miles. Just be careful even from a dealer, the day before I picked mine up it had 2 bald front tyres and only a months MOT left on it so I got them to rectify that, and service it. Check reviews online for the dealer. Cambelts are every 140,000 miles, oil service is every 2 years or 10,000 miles. As said check service history, they no longer have a service book, it's all online through VW so if it's not VW serviced then you need to ask for receipts/reports for and work carried out.

Nice looking van. Good spec for a camper base van. Highline with a tailgate.
I bought mine with 95k on it and it’s now on 154k so the miles aren’t to bad if it’s been well serviced.

Is it just me who thinks the price is steep? £18k for a 5-year old panel van with 100k on the clock?
It caught my attention as it's a decent price (across the market) for the year and spec, but you're right in essence.

Thanks for that info.

Sounds like you got a damn good deal! Unfortunately this is the top of my budget.

Finally scraped together the money after a few years (and a lifetime) to buy a van to convert. Been keeping an eye of for a little while and have seen this one:

Used 2021 Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI T28 Highline Panel Van 5dr Diesel Manual FWD SWB Euro 6 (s/s) (110 ps) £14,895 97,940 miles - White | Wolverhampton | V12SportsAndClassics

Any thoughts/tips/advice? Just got in touch with them and thinking about getting a premium inspection from online mechanic.
Be careful of weights depending of what your intentions are to convert into as its only a T28
