Busfest tickets bought finally! Quite reasonable at £175 for the Mrs and I in the van. Reasonable compared to Camper Calling anyway!
Spaceman costume has arrived today, I can't remember if that is for Camperjam, Camper Calling or Busfest! Too much going on!
I do like Busfest though, plenty of room to set up. Getting excited now!

...it's the last public event of the year and we have yet to have the first, but already getting excited

Was looking this, but its sadly going to be a no. My usual MO for camping is me and my dog. However, circumstances as they are make that week difficult unless I take the puppy as well and I think that might be a bit much for me on my own for a few days

15 year old son not sure if he is coming this year or not (and won’t make decision probably until almost the day) - do you know if I buy a child ticket I can change on the day of arrival to an adult and pay the extra on the gate (and bring a mate instead - mate won’t getaway as 15 ).

Just pay the extra on the gate for whoever decides! I did the same with my Mrs a few years ago. Last minute dot com!

I never buy a ticket for the Mrs until we get to the gate. It’s £5 more that way, but she never commits to coming until the last minute (or not at all). It has never been a problem adding a person to a booked camping unit.

ATTENTION - There will be NO Thursday night arrivals for 2026

Some of you may be aware, that in previous years we have allowed some people to arrive early and camp Thursday night in the holding fields before being allowed entry to the site Friday morning

This is not something we have ever advertised or encouraged and have actively asked people not to do.

This all started a few years ago when some individuals arrived from overseas late at night, we knew they would struggle to get in at a campsite at that hour and did not have the heart to kick them out into a layby after they had made such a long journey just to be at our event. So we allowed them to park in the holding field to move onto the main camping fields in the morning.

Unfortunately, word got around about this and within a couple of years we went from 6 vans to hundreds.

This is not sustainable for our event and each year as the numbers grown it puts added strain on our team so we have made the decision to not allow any Thursday night arrivals

While we understand that some of you are travelling far and would like to camp Thursday night to have everything set up and ready to enjoy but for many, many reasons this is just not possible for us so PLEASE have a look at the campsites in the area or on your route to us. If you arrive at our site Thursday night you WILL be turned away and if you attempt to camp up on grass verges/unsafely you will be moved on by the police.

*So please, do not arrive at the showground before the gates open at 10am on Friday*

We are working on the Fancy dress for the weekend..... Still up for debate ATM.

A few good ideas after Spring camp

Busfest theme is a cop out and gone for Winter et Wonderland again..... Which the done a couple years ago.

So we're do something different.

RunDSG and family are booked for our fourth year at BusFest. Can’t wait.

Bringing a mate with his family and their new T6.1 camper as well.
