Bullfinch Shower Help

Hi Guys,

I have a bullfinch shower that is only connected to the cold outlet, should I be terminating the hot inlet for the shower with one of these:

Reason I ask is if I turn the shower connector slightly too far to the hot / red side, water sprays out the back of the unit from the hot inlet pipe.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes that will be fine, otherwise it’s a 15mm to 12mm reducer and one of these to achieve the same
