Brake Question

I would expect if there was any chance of them jamming up with excess paint etc then the reburb place would have advised accordingly, I wouldn't go removing paint now else I assume you'll void any sort of warranty you might have with them .
So If in doubt ask the company for guidance on this .

What paint did you use ?
It was 2 tins of the high temp paint in Kawasaki green that my pal already had so can’t help with where that came from but I ended up getting another 2 tins made up from a local paint spray supplier.
Then I gave them a coat of clear lacquer
Turned out great
I can’t wait to fit them but didn’t have time before I headed of for a couple weeks around Scotland

So brakes are on , and after much debate about which way the discs go round we settled on this way …. The vents are straight but research suggests the groove goes this way to cut through the pad … thoughts ??

Hi, there is no right or wrong way on these as the veins inside are straight. It’s the vein that dictates the direction like on our big brake kits, these are directional due to viens In discs.

The way most people fit them is the way Steve Field has fitting them in his YouTube video, which is opposite to how yours are fitted. Sorry for any confusion this has caused and I’ll make a new memo to send out with discs from now on to fit them the Steve Field way.

I’ve personally ran all the discs in either direction and found no difference in the way they perform.

So just for clarity & the avoidance of doubt. Which way should the 340mm t32 Big brake discs go? I’m hoping to (insert name of your imaginary friend of choice) that I’ve got mine the right way round. It never occurred to me that they’d go the other way.
