Brake Pad Part Numbers

Hi all, can feel the brakes going and MOT due next week so to jump the gun I’m going to fit new pads and discs all round.

Just trying to get through the minefield that is knowing which pads I need… discs seem pretty straight forward and am happy I’ve got it there (7E0615301D for the fronts, 7E0615601D for the rears).
But it’s a gamble on the pads… short of dismantling them and reading the part number first.

It’s 2020 T6.1 T30 (308mm front discs).

I think I need 7E0698151 for the fronts and 7E0698451 for the rears. Has anyone ordered before and know the numbers? Or have access to TPS etc to check?

Because I want to order parts myself and it’s minefield with the pads.

It looks like the T6 and T6.1 upto 2020 share the same “Levens” front calipers and the post 2020 T6.1’s use a different caliper.

So if you just put your reg into GSF etc, you get 4 different pads to choose from, all completely different (inc’s T32 you see).

I did try searching the part number separately on google but it came up with something else. Maybe Pagid have changed codes?

As previously mentioned, just call the lovely people @Nutexa Frictions and they will sort you out with the correct parts, British made, and competitively priced. Job done.

Pretty sure I’ve got the 308mm T6.1 pads in stock, more rears being made at the moment

I have a T6.1 2022MY with Clayton’s T30 and it has Pagid calipers and pads. Dealer quoted me £850 for discs & pads all round😳.

I got genuine Pagid ones from Euro Car parts for just over £400 and fitted them myself in a couple of hours. Fairly easy but had to borrow the wind back tool for the rears. Took ECP 2 goes to get the right front pads as their OEM cross referencing wasn’t correct.

Funnily enough, I'm in the market for discs and pads all round.
Both ECP & CP4L come in at exactly the same price for Brembos (308/294mm), the only difference being is, CP4L offer a 30% discount with a code if you spend over £150.

More interestingly, when I looked on Autodoc, the same model pads and discs were coming in at £266.

Have you priced them up on Nutexa? A bit of British made goodness. I've got them on the rear and will put them on the front when they are due for replacement.

That I did too.
If opting for the plain discs front and rear, including pads it was around the £360 mark, if I went for the grooved discs, including pads, it ups it around £490 mark.
Don't think I would need grooved discs as my driving style is more "Driving Miss Daisy", I suppose it's horses for courses. But then on the other hand, I'd rather be able to stop in a more safe manner.

I'm weighing up the options at the moment, I need to talk to my garage, as I know some places don't like you sourcing your own parts due to warranty issues etc.

I don't mind partaking in a little tinkering with bits & pieces on the van, but when it comes to making the thing stop, I would rather let someone with more technical knowledge lead the way.
 
I just put the plain discs on the rear, but I already had another brand of drilled and grooved on the front.
I fitted mine myself.
 
Our plain discs and pads work out at around £340 inc vat and free delivery. Our product can't really be compared to the products mentioned from motor factors due to ours being a carbon/steel G3500 material.
 
Are the plain discs vented? Can't tell by the pictures from the website, unless I'm missing something :unsure:

ECP and CP4L are two sales channels of the same company!
