Bluetti Charger 1 connect to Roamer leisure battery problem

Hi. I just don’t get it! I’m trying to run the Charger 1 off a lithium Roamer leisure battery which in turn is charged off the alternator via a Vitron Dc to DC charger. So I run the cables supplied with the Charger 1 to a location where my Bluetti Elite100 V2 is situated which I want to charge off the Charger 1. I also fused the positive cable at the leisure battery terminal. I test and I am getting the full 13.5V at the charger’s input from the leisure battery yet the unit will not switch on. If I connect directly to the starter battery and run the engine the Charger 1 starts fine and I can log into it etc. The confusion is this - Bluetti tell me it needs to be connected directly to the starter battery with the engine running. Fair enough but if I connect directly to an independent power supply set to 13.5V the Charger 1 starts up! Any ideas why it wont work off the leisure battery? Appreciate any advice!

can you screen shot your Roamer battery APP pages.

you got charge & discharge enabled?

you using a common chassis as the NEG for everything?

My charger 1 is connected to my non lithium leisure battery and charges my Anker C1000 G2 fine. I did notice on one occasion that it wouldn't charge the Anker until the LB was up at a certain voltage, about 10 minutes into the drive. I can't remember what the figures were sorry. I used the Bluetti app to check what was happening the first couple of times I used it. My charger 1 is connected to a chassis earth point and not to the battery. Hope you get it sorted.
