Bilstein shocks

Hi

I have a T28 transporter. It only has Bilstein shocks fitted to the rear. Why would this be plus I would like to raise the whole
Suspension as the tyres catch the arch frequently when going over a dip?

Sounds like someone has replaced just the rears .
What wheels, tyres and springs are currently fitted ?

Tyres are 270/40

All I know they are Bilstein fitted to rear suspension only

Hasn't been lowered? Does it have standard wheels and tyres?

As well as high performance dampers Bilstein also make everyday replacements. It seems likely its simply needed new dampers onnthe rear at some point and the owner has specced the standard spec Bilsteins instead of the hideously expensive and faily deappy VW units.
