Big brakes & calipers.

Its been a while; are you all good and well?
That was summer!

T6.1 - fortana red, black alloys...
Im thinking yellow calipers.
Big brakes kits are expensive!
Do I really need it?
Also, front only - then what to do with the rear?
Can we purchase calipers replacements only, rather than paint?
And if so, where?

I was chatting to Austin at a Low Intent camp out the other week. I’ve never heard of Akebono brakes before.
What do you know about them?

They appear to be identical to Brembo and a quick Google they seem to supply a lot of car manufactures. Maybe that's why manufactures have their logo and caliper and not Brembo.....such as RS and S on Audi's.

They are/were used on Mclaren's formula 1 cars for a while and I believe their road cars too.
