Best swivel base in 2026

In need of a set of swivel bases for my T6 Kombi with two single front seats. Any recommendations?

Does the 'offset' swivel offered in the RIB give any real benefit compared to the other options?

The main selling points I'm interested in:

1. Minimal height increase.
2. Does not 'rock' under normal use - Been in my Dad's T5 camper where the front swivels introduced slight play. I think this was an earlier RIB design
3. Handbrake relocation kit.
4. Cable routing for use with standard heated seats.

Current options:

  • Handbrake relocation comes with new plastic cover

  • 21mm height increase
  • The swivel is offset - does this actually give any real benefit??

OEM is the best

Then either RIB V3 or sport craft. I'm

Kiranvans I had wobbled, so they replaced with rib.

Not had the RL ones, but seen loads reports they rock.

Can only seem to find the passenger lowered base available from them, did you buy yours new?

I only got a passenger one as I don't need my driver's seat to swivel.
To be honest, I didn't notice that it was a specific passenger base as I never considered that the driver and passenger base would be different?
