Does the 'offset' swivel offered in the RIB give any real benefit compared to the other options?
The main selling points I'm interested in:
- Minimal height increase.
- Does not 'rock' under normal use - Been in my Dad's T5 camper where the front swivels introduced slight play. I think this was an earlier RIB design
- Handbrake relocation kit.
- Cable routing for use with standard heated seats.
Current options:
- Kira Vans - £519 for full front kit with handbrake relocation - CLICK
- Claim to be "No squeaks, no rattles"
- only 19mm height increase
- Handbrake relocation comes with new plastic cover
- Rusty Lee - Total £370 including handbrake relocation. - CLICK
- Handbrake kit does not come with new cover
- RIB V3 - £379 full kit including handbrake relocation - CLICK
- 21mm height increase
- The swivel is offset - does this actually give any real benefit??
Any real world experience with any of these options (or others?) would be appreciated! Thanks
