Best Front and Rear Dash Cam

Afternoon All, we are looking at getting a front and rear dash cam but not sure which is the best and what things we need to consider. Any help would be great. TIA

I do not have any other experience, but happy so far with my FitCamX and like the OEM look and feel of the front camera

Wolfbox g900 front and rear for me. Can't fault it. Also acts as rear view mirror if you don't have a window

Another vote for the fitcamx - I only have the front can but I often forget it's there!

I am so glad I got a wolfbox. Front and rear cam with rearview mirror view. Cheap and very cheerful.

I have a wolfbox too, rear cam is mounted outside above the license plate so needs wiped often when it's wet as it gets dirty and blurry, otherwise no complaints

I take it it’s water proof? Did you have to drill any holes to get the wire through the door?

Yeah it's water proof. Got it fitted by a local car audio place. The cable comes out behind the license plate so I'm not sure.

bought it online during a sale and then found a local in-car AV company who fit cams etc that was recommended on a local FB group.

im not sure if I had the extended cable included, but the exact product package I bought was

nice! I think it was 179 when i got in on a previous sale / deal. id be tempted to go for the top model that is currently available assuming it has the best low light performance etc.

on completely dark roads it strains to pick up any light it can find, which means its extremely bright when a car approaches from behind. basically all you can see is a giant white light covering most of the screen. its not great but is only an issue on roads without street lights. you can manually change the exposure in the settings so i put it on minimum which helps offset this a bit.

Too late I’ve bought it now it should be ok I do t do many country roads, and it’s more for reversing if I’m honest.
