Ay up, finally secured a T6 :-)

Afternoon all. Finally found a T6 that we can afford so get ready to be inundated with newbie questions on our quest to convert to a camper. Its a 2016 poverty spec Startline in Blue with barn doors and no AC but it has got low mileage at under 40k miles. Will be on the lookout for places local to Chesterfield to source parts and fit windows etc.

Enjoy your journey. You will come across the folding front bench seat mod soon enough. This is an easy mod using an engineered bracket from vankraft. My advice is to set your drivers seat to 13 degrees backwards tilt and make sure your passengers find it a comfortable angle before you fit one. We really find it awful, might be our age, but I'm having to get it taken out. There is a lot of love for this mod and the folding down is great, but the angle of the back rest is to much. The folded bench allows much easier access into the pop for young and old alike. The fold also allows a much easier collapsing of the pop top and makes the turning of the bench around (if you get a swivel fitted) 10 times easier.
