Awnings and sun canopy

After a fait bit of research I'm considering the vango cove 3 as it has the driveway option as well as being a decent size with nice porch. Anyone used one and rate it?

I'm also hoping to use an old simple sun shade in have from decathlon (for afternoons out etc). Is there a kit I can add to a regular square of finished canvas that makes it attachable to the vamoose awning rail?

Iv not had the cove3 myself but have had numerous Vango tents and awnings and all have been great.
