Awning Beds? What are you using

So after some insight into what everyone else is using for a bed in the (drive away) awning please

So far we’ve tried the double folding camp bed which was great for storage underneath once up, but bulky to pack and cart around and not massively comfortable. We then tried a double width and depth air bed with a built in pump, super convienient and very comfortable but two uses in and we’ve already got issues with it deflating during the night. Wasn’t particularly cheap so not overly happy.

Me and my wife sleep out there with the kids being in the van, so needs to be adult suitable and happy to spend the money on something that’s comfortable and works.

What does everyone else use / recommend?

we use one of thesse if we take the grandkids away no built in pump never had a problem with it but do another pump up after initial inflation due to the hot air created by the pump being greater volume than cold

Thanks guys, thought it was the best option and definately the most comfortable.

Guess I got a bad one the first time round with the deflation, couldn’t find a leak anywhere. I’ll pick up another and give it another go.

For the space it saves in the van it’s worthwhile and after a few hours searching last night I’m not coming up with many other viable options

on one of our beds years ago built in pump you had to unscrew a valve thing so it could inflate and after inflation if you didnt tighten it up properly the bed did lose air dont know whats yours is like
