AusTop seal covers awning brackets - correct?

Hi
New to this, just taken delivery of T6 with Austops pop top. I had a Dometic pull out awning fitted. The seal for the poptop has been put over the awning brackets, creating a gap in the seal either side of both brackets.Is this just how it has to be and will be ok or should I query this
Any advice appreciated

If there’s a gap it’s no longer a seal and will allow rain in. I would take it back.
I seem to remember similar cases where there was some discussion about removing some roof material to allow the seal to sit above the brackets and still be water tight.

Can you show a photo? This is a common way to fit, mine has the same arrangement and doesn’t leak.
