Armrests and Tiguan Lower Back Support Lever

Hi, I'm just about to fit aftermarket armrests to my new Mk2 Tiguan R Line seats, anyone had any issues due to the location of the lower back support lever?

It may be that the bracket is just installed slightly above it, with a bit of clearance, If you have done this before any pictures of the finished seats?

The back support lever is usually at the 12 O'clock position which puts it right in front of the larger circular hole...........

Hi , it didn't look like the retrofit universal armrests were going to work on the Mk2 Tiguan R Line bolster frame with back support lever, both frame side edges are at different heights, and the bit in between them, is not flat either, wasn't even straight vertically so it was going to be really challenging mounting the armrest bracket at a right angle.

After removing the airbags, and patching in foam inserts to take up the vacant space, I put the seats back together, for now, using the original T6 drivers seatbelt buckle on the
Tiguan seat, No fault codes so all good
I have not given up, and I will revisit the possibility of fitting the armrests at a later date.

Drivers seat went on a THQ non-swivel adapter plate, the passengers seat went on a CMC safe/swivel base with 'VW Transporter mods' adapter plates, it all worked out fine as you can see in the pictures.
