Are T5 T5.1 rear 2 +1 seats same shape as t6 for swapping covers later...eg tassimo to simora ?

Hi all, I need to convert my camper back to a kombi and am on the lookout for 2+1 seats in simora...there seems to be none around at the moment but there are a few for t5 and 5.1.

So here's the question I know from past experience there are subtle differences in t5 and t5.1 front seats as they are slightly different shape, does the same apply for the rears as I could fit 5.1 seats until the simora covers become available and swap them over ?

T5 and T5.1 Kombi seats will work perfectly in a T6. Mounting points are exactly the same.

Yes...but its whether the seat shapes are the same...I know from experience the front seats are slightly different through the years so t6 covers don't fit properly on t5 or t5.1 seats. I want to know if its the same situation with the rear seats so I can buy the first lot of seats that come up and replace the actual covers in simora trim later..thanks though

I have just had T6 front seats recovered to match new R&R bed on a swap basis and they have given me a T5 set which do fit but have noticed the headrests ate different and the drivers seat side bolsters are different these are more flat rather than caused on edges. The T6 ones I did find my right hip used to be positioned awkwardly but these T5 don't give the same discomfort. I think the foam isn't quite as firm on the T5 and the wife felt the bench seat didn't feel the same, also it might be down to the wear on the foam.
