Are BFG K02 really Noisy?

Have to go back to standard height again I guess…why do we tie ourselves up in knots over these vans. They cost us a fortune…

Not necessarily, you should be fine lowered on either of the 18" sizes I think. Maybe check in the 18's thread, someone will have those tyres on a lowered van.

Hi Everyone, I'm looking at buying the Black rhino Warlord wheels and the BFG tyres but I have heard some say they are noisy, and some say they are fine. Any advice from anyone with experience in these tyres? Thanks.

Well, went for the Black Rhino Warlords with 235/65/17 wildpeaks, looks great, road noise very acceptable and handling noticeably better than 275/40/r20s so thanks for all of the input.

We’ve fitted a few sets, they are certainly noisier than any other tyre we’ve fitted, and by some margin….

Just reviewing this thread as the van i have just picked up on has BFG AT's and they are very noisy. The fronts need replaced, and i'm not sure whether to stick the same tyres back on, or go for the wildpeaks. It would irk my to have different tyres on the front versus the back for a while, but i could almost get 4 wildpeaks fitted for the price of 2 BFG's. How much quieter are the falkens for thise who have made the switch?
