Anyone underwhelmed at their Alpine Halo / speaker combo setup?

Added an alpine halo 11 head unit and Gladen tweeters and door speakers on my T6.1.
Also deadened the doors and cards.
Whilst a huge improvement over the default setup it doesn't sound like a 1600 quid upgrade.
There is little bass and Def sounds like it's still a bit cardboard sounding.
I moved from an S4 into this, my first van.
Am I expecting too much?
Or do I need to add sub and amps?

We suggest minimum a multichannel amp running active and a 10” sub, this will massively transform it
