Anyone removed swirl flaps ???

I had an adblue delete and a remap completed a few months ago. This triggered the engine warning light to come on. The guy stated I would need to remove the swirl flaps to allow the light to go out....... Now it's MOT time and its a fail with the warning light on.

I've removed the inlet manifold , is it simply a case of removing the flaps and spindle or do I need a blanking kit ?

Or can the light be extinguished via the laptop and vcds ???

I can’t see how the two are linked but I have zero Euro 6 experience.

Impossible to tell without the fault codes. What exactly do you mean by engine warning light - as dash has two - exhaust emission warning light (engine symbol) and engine fault light (flashing coil).

Or can the light be extinguished via the laptop and vcds ???

Normally yes - the emission warning. However, impossible to say what's the effect of the deletes.
