Im currently converting a nursery at home and were worried about the heat for the baby during these heatwaves…….. but im also converting a T6.1 Kombi into a day van, and no poptop.
The nursery is about 14m3 and the van I think is 8m3 and ChatGPT suggests that a 5000 btu cooler would be fine for both uses. Obviously I can just get a cheaper cooler for the nursery, and not have anything for the van, but the temps recently have been wild and just getting worse, and I just don’t want to be stuck with a massively over heating child.
So yeah, would love to hear your takes on this if anyone has one? I know it won’t run for long off the battery but it should get us to sleep of a night in the van and I believe I can charge the battery for it off solar during the day.
