If so do you think you could fabricate something like the bracket on the side of this California seat in the photo?
Thanks. IMG_4134.webpIMG_4133.webp

I just had a look online to see whats available, it’s all pretty fugly, sort of cross over from satellite TV mans left overs.
I’m not in the market for making one but there must be a more aesthetic solution.
How about a rail mounted bracket which wouldn’t depend on the seat position?

That might be a solution, but I’ve never seen anything like that.
Believe me I have looked for different solutions. I like the idea that, with this bracket, the table will move with the seat.
I’m not keen on the brackets that bolt to the bottom of the B pillar.

I also have a California 2 seat bed but have this table mounting system. It can move on the sliding rail as I need it.
There’s the advantage that because it’s supported from the top it’s rock solid.

Reimo do this kind of stuff

Stauff tube clamps are available in different sizes, whether to hold the table tube or a fixed tube to put the table tube in.
Can have stainless steel top plate and you could use button head fasteners to make neater, available in black or green nylon or could paint.
Heavy duty.

Thanks, I will have a look see if I can find one of those.

Because of the torque applied, much the same as the photo you posted in post #1
But the photo in #1 is the only support? The Reimo is designed to be the only support. It wouldn't work using 2 of these.
