Any Musicians here?

I sell all things musical for a living, Piano/keyboard is my first instrument, flute to an intermediate standard, a bit of sax, I can make you think I can play guitar but not really! Hence the number plate which is great 'cos 'crims' think it's old so don't bother looking too hard!

Trumpet and Cornet here too since secondary school. Still play weekly in a concert band.
One-time drummer, 2 piano tunes, the same 6x guitar chords since uni. Don't ask me to sing!

I have played the drums for years. Now just play for fun, not in any bands etc.
The kit is a Pearl Reference. I was lucky enough to buy it from a professional drummer friend of mine Andy Treacey (Faithless).
It was the kit he used on most of their international tours, Glastonbury, Alexandra Palace (2005) and their final gig at the Brixton Academy.

I play guitar, bass and drums. All of them terribly. I'm mostly self-taught on guitar but have had a few lessons along the way. I've never played in a band or even jammed.

5 years ago, I made my own Telecaster from scratch after watching Crimson Guitars' videos on YouTube. My partner then bought me a six day course at Crimson's workshops in Dorchester where I made a PRS copy that I'm inordinately proud of. When I finished it, the trainer plugged it into an amp and said "Play something". I was so embarrassed with my playing that I gave it a 10-second noodle and unplugged it. I had more lessons after that!

Really, thats very strange as thats what there called.....https://www.drumshack.co.uk/b/drum-thrones-stools/569_275_365

Just sounds too posh I guess! No offence meant... The drummer in a band I play in needed a new throne last year when the base of the seat gave way and the pole of the stand went through. Fortunately he had a sturdy pair of jeans on. Oh how we all laughed, especially the guitar guys!

Guitar here. Not in a band or anything just for my own enjoyment. Used to play drums in a very amateur covers band....long time ago....we were shit lol

@IanEx. Well done on building your own guitars. I played for over 50 years but have more or less given it up now due to losing the use of a finger in my left hand which also meant slimming my guitar collection down quite drastically (I went from 7 electrics and 4 acoustics down to 2 of each and even they might go soon). I owned a Cobalt Blue PRS DGT until about a year ago - it was a thing of beauty and was fantastic to play.
