Any dealers offer sale or return

Having just put a T6 up for sale I was talking to a mate in the trade and he highlighted that most people buying something at that value would want finance and maybe warranty

got me thinking if there was any traders on here that do sale or return (selling on behalf of a customer and adding their cut plus finance commission)

please let me know if you are aware of anyone that does

i would speak to Oli @BognorMotors 1st he might be able to guide you in the right direction. he is a trusted Van dealer in here. although i 'll add he does have shares in Peckham spring water lol

No worries but you shouldn't any trouble selling it . if someone wants it they would sort out their own loan

and there's No warranty on a private sale nor if its older so the same thing ... is it older than 3 years with any VW warranty left on it

do you have a good reason to sell it or does the buyer flip a coin for dealer or buy from Essex its all about Trust

the Dealer adds a higher price to cover any warranty he also takes the chance on what he has brought to sell

people sell motors to dealers to move it on knowing its broken and hide the fact ..

Don't worry you'll be heading backwards into a ditch before you get chance to kick yourself

A good selling point could be the VW All In deal which gives 2 years warranty, 2 years VW roadside assistance, 2 services small/large and 2 mot's. This is transferable to a new owner. Cost about £830.

^ avatars not coming through - I think it will be more a case of a look of disgust where cash thrown at the T6 to make it better vs cash thrown at a beetle to keep it running

997.2 if I can get one at the right price and spec

997.1 is probably right price but hear the horror stories

If you go for a 7.1 try and get one with a Hartech rebuilt engine (both banks) or pay for a borescope inspection. I get the 911 thing (I have a 996) but the 981 Cayman is similar performance and all the issues sorted. If you can manage with two seats (the 911 back seats only suitable for little kids!) then the 981 is a better proposition IMHO and wish I’d listened to the advice I was given when looking for mine!

Thanks and really appreciate feedback - I do have two little kids and it’s on the rare but possible situation where I will need to use them that I’m heading down 911 route

would have done an M3 but can’t get the 911
