Alpine Halo 9 Glitch Help

I've recently installed a Alpine Halo 9, and every now and then the screen will stop responding, and I can't use the steering wheel controls. Music still plays, and the screen is updating (maps still move.etc).

I was thinking loose connection, but if I restart the unit it all works again. Overheating perhaps? I did tuck most of the control boxes (SOS.etc) on top of the headunit...

Halo 905 ? If so make sure it has the latest firmware as none of the ones we get in are up to date.

We tuck the sos, alpine interface behind the dash and not block the fan entrance

Yeah it has the latest firmware, ILX905D. The only way i could get it to fit was place the control boxes on top of the unit

We tuck all the boxes, looms etc in the space where the discovery nav unit has its module, behind the centre console area

I might have another go at it, i couldnt see a way of getting the boxes down there. I guess its put the boxes there then feed the wires up to the headunit area. Instead i cable tied them to the back of the Alpine glossy black fascia, on top of the headunit itself.
