All Terrain Tyres on Clayton Wheels

Hi all, apologies if this is a frequently asked point but can anyone advise/have photos of a T6/6.1 with standard VW Clayton wheels with All Terrain Tyres Fitted.
I’m looking to swap my tyres for practicality as a lot of my driving is along Cornish lanes with verges for passing places and deep pot holes.
Any advise or experience appreciated.

Watching with interest in Northumberland...

Really nice tyres, probably they fit right too.
But they do not look much different from cheap standard / legal All-Season van ( "C") tyres as below.
Not sure it makes sense for the effort to have them approved. The UK is much more permissive, as I understand, though.

In picture,
they have already a full winter season, plus some 1k miles this fall, on the shoulders.

Maxxis Vansmart A/S AL2 215/60/17C 109/107 H
on ALCAR 7J17 -56 steels (not original VW).

Four seasons snowflake, 252.00 EU incusive VAT each, the complete wheel mounted and balanced delivered at my door by Reifendirekt.

I have a Maxxis 3peaks hoop as my spare it weighs as much as a small moon, 5 or 6 kg more than the regukar van tyre it replaced. As it was a spare I wasn't too concerned but wouldn't have it as the normal road tyre.

And that's the rub. There are decent manufacturer certified mud and snow tyres, and there are woeful 3peaks certified boots. Fortunately we have a large user base on here so theres plenty of feedback about what actually works.

Well, they are heavy 8 plyes 107/109 load rated , so they can take a lot of abuse in mild off road too, that's why I was comparing them with the ones in this thread. Did last summer in Sardinia. Cheap stuff, I reckon. Snow behavior is decent as I can see every day at home. Photo of 15 min ago, we are having a pause of the snowing, today.1000025781.jpg

Just seen this post, have bf goodrich ko2s on also on cornish lanes and they are great a little bit of road noise at 30mph but fine after that and a much smoother ride.
