AliExpress headunits

Hi all.

I’m curious to see if anyone has purchased one of the many Ali express style double din head units? If so which ones have been bought and any general feedback. I’m looking for an android style unit. Maps, dab, and general android apps so I can get music etc.

Prefer the style that sits proud (tilted towards driver) as the angle in a T6 seems to always be in the sun!

Thanks in advance. Like to pay about £200 ish quid.

Bought from this store. Got it installed last week. Had to research the reverse camera wiring and how to keep dab. I can recommend getting the tpms sensors as well. Happy to help you if you buy, as it wasn’t as plug and play as I thought. Silly amount of obsolete cables and looms. Should add , mind tilts slightly up.

Cool. Thanks for sharing. I’ve just bought a £55 one on Amazon that’s coming tomorrow going to have a look. I don’t have toms or anything as it’s a startline so I don’t need to worry about all that stuff. I’ll post updates when it arrives. Reviews are good though

how have you found the headunit? any issues or annoyances?
looking at getting a new one as my touch screen is on its way out

Just seeing this . No issues , like it very much. Dab and reverse camera were a bit of faff. I’ve no fm at all . But alls good

so did you get it to work with the stock reverse camera? sound quality alright? oh and the microphone could you use the stock one?

I just used the mic they supplied. Sounds dead on. There’s different eq settings etc. I used the supplied camera didn’t have a stovk one. I’m guessing stock won’t work.
