Aldi are currently selling Auto XS Vehicle Fault Code Reader for £17.99. Are these worth buying? ...just for basics stuff. Fed up paying £10 every time I use Carista

no personal experience, but a friend bought one to use on his Defender & he's happy with it. Obviously, being a defender, it gets used on a daily basis.

For fault code reading you could use just Carista device with e.g. Car Scanner app - even the free version will do the job.

Pay the annual membership then.

I have only used it twice = £20. If they offered a one-off I would buy that. I asked a simple question surrounding the usefulness of the Auto XS reader so I did't have to pay each time i wanted to use it.
