Adaptive cruise disable

Is it possible to override the adaptive part of the cruise control? Getting on my nerves this slowing down when I'm planning on overtaking as I get closer.... But the vehicle doesn't get closer..... It slows chuffin down!

Took me a while to get used to it but wouldn't change it now.

Don't think you can turn it off

If you indicate it speeds up

Change the distance ,then it doesn't get as close .

Same frustration in my golf, doesn't suit my driving style at all but the wife loves it. Unfortunately no way to disable it, just have to learn to drive round it!! So glad our T6 hasn't got it. Good luck

I have nearly been rear ended a couple of times when it has braked hard on a bend with a car stopped in a filter lane to the right as no-one around expects me to slam the anchors on so I wonder if any accidents have been caused by it?

... and this year's Italian entry for the Eurovision song contest "I can't get no contraception" won't be performing... the Pope has advised them to withdraw at the last minute...
