Yep, the standard trim. I just measured so many times to get it right. Cut 2 3.6mm ply panels exactly the same as the original ones just without the two cab light holes.
Even used the original push pins to fix the ply up. Used a counter sink bit on the back of the felt over each one so there was no bulge, then screwed the acoustic panels to the ply. Easy to remove if need be too.
I recorded most of it so will post up on YouTube at some point.
I purchased the BTF Lighting COB lights from Amazon. Quality products. Just make sure you purchase the 12v versions not the 240v ones. Also bought the controller and remote. Must say I'm impressed with the quality of these so far:

For £30 very happy with these now.
I have two strips that are on the old cab light loom so they come on when the Kombi is unlocked and then go off with a timer or when it’s locked.
The other two strips I installed today and have rgbw cob led strips and a controller that connects up to the Ecoflow 3 amp bullet connector. Bodied the connection up to test them before I route the wiring down the b pillar, under floor and to the RH slide pod.
What do you think guys?
I’ll be posting a full install video on my KombiVanlife YouTube channel soon:
