Accelerator click

I have a T6.1 low output 89BHP 5 speed manual 2020 van. When I press the accelerator it goes about half way down and then seems to come against some resistance. If I then press any harder I feel a 'click; on the pedal then it goes right down to the floor. I do not feel any difference in power/acceleration when this happens. Can anyone tell me what is happening here?

No. That's what I can't get my head around. Its not DSG (whatever that stands for!) its a 5speed manual. I would understand the two stages if it were automatic but its not its a manual gearbox

I had a 6.1 PV a few weeks ago as a courtesy and it had the kick down peddle. It was a 5 speed manual.

confirmed back in december when i picked the new 6.1 150 manual up

queried it as was not sure oif the maps worked with the new pedal mechanism
