ABS sensor fault

Hi. My converted 66 plate panel van. After changing the ABS sensor, rear right, the fault code corrected but the fault code C101D01 remained for a wiring issue. Voltage on the sensor connector is 10.39v dc. 10.41v dc with the engine running. What should be the correct voltage be ? I assume there may a volt drop on a connector and investigated the route of the wiring but again lost it once the wiring entered the rear of the wheel arch. Where does it go and where would I see it again ?

Can you measure the voltage at another wheel sensor? That may help diagnose where the issue is.
What part number sensor did you fit? VW's somewhat inconsistent numbering system has caught more than one person out with the ABS sensors!

Did you see this thread ?
See post #25 in particular re wiring issue.

Thank you all for your assistance. It would seem that the ABS problems have been resolved. 1st, I found a youtube clip which showed the wiring route from rear right (offside) to the rear light cluster. Linked
. Although showing a T5 the details are the same. Having located the cable at the light cluster, I was able the free up sufficient cable length from around the wheel arch to pull the cable out through the light cluster gromet, removed the cloth covering to show 4 wires and found the faulty metal VW connector which was replaced with heat shrink-solder connector and heat shrink protection. I then replaced the remaining connectors.
The other issue of reduced voltage maybe the engine battery which was registered at 11,7v dc. 14v dc with the engine running on idle. Further checks on that to follow.
