ABS AND SKID ICON

Hi All, Looking for some advice, the ABS and Skid Icon comes on randomly, it will come on when we start the van and then it will go off after a short while. We are also randomly getting a Start/Stop error, again this will come and go. Any ideas what could be causing this? TIA

Have you had it plugged in, to see what faults are logged?

Anything otherwise is just guess work.

Probably your speed sensors. Does it show trye pressure faults as well??

I did turn on the speed indicator, will switch it off tomorrow to see if it makes any difference. Tyre pressure is ok, however it is also showing a Start/Stop error occasionally too.

No haven't taken it to a garage, thought I'd ask on here at first to see if anyone else had a similar problem.

It is quite likely to be an ABS sensor as these fail quite often. They're used to monitor wheel speed and this information is used for many systems including tyre pressure (loss) monitoring, cruise control, ABS, stop start.
As mentioned already, you'll need a diagnostic tool to confirm this. You'll also need one to tell you which sensor is potentially duff too.
