Covers the person as opposed to the vehicle so Covers you in any eligible vehicle.

From what I can work out to cover all 4 of us in any vehicle I'd need one policy plus spouse added, then one policy for each 'child', then add the excess for claims on cars over 10 years old, it's not far off the AA price.

Different strokes for different folks I guess, works for me but it's just me and my car.

I'm just about to swap my Nationwide account to Flexplus, giving me AA in UK and Europe, travel and mobile insurance for £18 a month.
This will cover us for the summer holiday in June when I will switch back to their free account.
I'll then buy Green Flag for the year for 60 quid
But does it cover commercial vehicles?? Worth checking!!!
We had a call out for the wife’s motor via our bank account membership and found out commercial vehicles aren’t covered.
The chap was sound though and towed her to a local garage.

It'll come down to whether the AA consider camper conversions still registered with DVLA as PV-'s or vans with windows as 'commercial'.

They would be hard pressed to say 'no' if you have a camper insurance with them though.

I've just sent off all my paperwork to DVLA for motor caravan classification from PV. Will see what happens, but the Vivante hits all the relevant criteria.
I've also just been granted an Ulez exemption for Newcastle-upon-Tyne City centre as a motorhome/campervan, again had to submit evidence but they weren't bothered about the DVLA classification.
