6v battery - what could I use it for and how

So I have to buy two 6v batteries for the grandkids electric cars (the sort they sit on, press a peddle and destroy the garden).

With the mantra everything must have more than one use - any thoughts on how they might be useful when away in the van - I have electrics / solar already - just trying to think of a second use when not being used in the garden?

Connect them in series, for 12v

Then use them for usb charging.
