4motion rear differential question

Hi,

I have a 2016 T6 T32 4Motion LWB CAAC (Euro 5). Will the rear differential from a 2017 T6 4Motion CXEB (Euro 6) be a direct swap?

They will be different part numbers, as the 2017 one has a diff lock. I intend to fit the diff and extra parts to use the diff lock.

In the worst-case scenario, I will use the Haldex controller from my diff and control the lock actuator via vacuum valves from the dash switch. The only issue with this is that the controller won't know that the diff is locked.

4Mo: with or without Diff Lock?

Any progress yet? What's involved in retro fitting the diff lock? Is is software or is it an addition to the rear diff unit. You need to change the Rear Diff to the Version with Diff-Lock. Than 2 Air Lines need to be installed and some Valves and a relais and the switch in dashboard. of course...
