4Mo - How do you know when it's working?

The PWM reading fluctuates, which I believe will be the pump working and sending power to the rear.

Yep - Pulse width modulation to control the amount of power to send to the rear. I would expect the Haldex duty percentage to fluctuate in sync with the PWM percentage.

I think I read somewhre that when the Haldex filter starts to clog up the current required increases to compensate, so that could be a good measure to watch over time. Would need to know what is "normal" though.

This what AI says:

A healthy Haldex pre-charge pump typically draws between 2.5 to 5+ Amps when operating correctly, with pressures reaching up to 44 bar, especially during a VCDS/diagnostic "pump learn" cycle. The current is PWM-controlled (Pulse Width Modulation), and values below this range often indicate a blocked filter or failed pump motor, while very low current suggests a faulty unit.
Key Haldex Pump Current Characteristics:
  • Normal Operating Range: Approx. 2.5–3.5 Amps during active driving, according to Freel2.com.
  • Pump Learn Cycle: Current may increase and fluctuate up to ~3.1 Amps to achieve 44 bar pressure, as seen in this YouTube video.
  • Fault Detection: High resistance (>10-20+ ohms) or excessive current draw (>8-10 amps) usually indicates a faulty pump or burnt-out motor, according to T6Forum.com and Haldex Repairs.

Very interesting - so it looks like the Haldex system is alive, and then at around 17:13 it had a breif moment wher it fully engaged 4WD?

Not sure what the current draw graph means though.

What vehicle have you set in the connection profile?
I had set mine to transporter, in the drop down list, and assume if you have set it to something that doesn't come with a 4WD option it won't show up.
Thanks I'll have another go tomorrow. No idea what I've set!

Yer, still can't find it, can't find DNAA anywhere it the list ...

I do get this but can't find Haldex in the list of sensors:

The MQB EVO platform is for the later model Golfs, Tiquan and I think maybe the T7, so would include the 4WD options, but you may find other transporter related items missing or incorrect, but might also be a good option for the T6 as well.
I scrolled to near the bottom of the list and found a "transporter" option, which I used.

Thanks, yeah the Transporter option didn't show the Haldex for me.
