2022 T6.1 150bhp - load whine

2022 T6.1 150bhp - has a loud whine when accelerating, prob turbo, had a smoke test, no leaks. Mechanic says nothing wrong. Any idea how make quieter as really want to sell it?

Just that it is particularly loud and noticeable

Once the noise appears is it engine speed related or road speed related.

Engine speed, only when accelerating, no noise when cruising. Doesn’t appear when rev at stand still

Same tone yes, increases more you accelerate

I'd be thinking more gearbox related than engine.
