2019 T6.0 Full LED Tail Light Compatibility ? - Tail

I’ve smashed my OSR full LED tail light and am trying to find a cheaper alternative than the Hella £280 one everyone selling . Checking my build sheet it says I have the 8SK version, which is fully LED..visually it looks exactly the same as the 8SB/8SD that only costs £127 but that apparently has only 3 LEDs and 2 halogens

Yes lucky me, it’s nice they are all LED but holy cr@p it’s expensive to replace ..any idea how I can get a cheaper one than the Hella expensive one ?

Also the plastic they make these out of is soo thin, almost designed to shatter into 50 pieces!!!

Maybe buy a set of cheap halogen rear lights and see ?
Do.your lights have a seperate bulb board like the halogens ?

I got mine from Fleabay/Marketplace route.....not sure if they are full LED or not

T6 E3 LED rear lights have incandescent bulbs for indicators and reverse. I believe that T6.1 were full LED.

If you have a T6, then you could 'upgrade' to T6.1 style lights for less money than one OEM Hella or Valeo lamp.

Never knew there was 2 versions of the E3.

Just normal and tinted ones.

8SK version, which is fully LED

On my T6 the 8SK is the normal "LED" tail light (with incandescent bulbs for indicator and reversing light).
However, T6.1 had options to have full LED tail lights - options 8VG and 8VH (tinted) from factory.

If you remove the light it will see a part number on the back side, this will enable a correct match, ebay is a good place to source, many owners change the lights.

so i got a replacement from ali express, perfect fit for £70 for the LED version its mint and works just as well as the other side which is a Hella £280 one thank god for AE
