2017 T6 Not Switching On

I had a faulty rear fog light due to water ingress - I replaced light cluster, still no RFL. Checked fuses - unable to rectify the problem. Next morning it was raining but my wipers wouldn't work. Panicking a bit, cos I didn't want to be late for work, I must have caused a bigger issue because now nothing comes on when I turn the key - dashboard, light & wiper arms steering wheel controls nor the starter motor.

The radio, hazard lights, central locking and the little MF display screen shows my door open and closing, I can also hear what could be the fuel pump come on for while and then stop.

I have checked the battery and terminals - all good. I have also checked all fuses in the cabin, the cluster next to the battery and the heavy duty ones under the battery - I've looked under both seats but can't find any more fuses. I even disconnected the battery over night so the ECU's could 'reset'. I only want to call an auto electrician when I've eliminated all 'simple' possible solutions.

Could anyone give me any ideas what, if anything, I could try next please.

Cheers,

Mark

Could be the ignition switch not making. Sounds like all the ignition controlled circuits are dead, but the non-ignition ones are working.

I charged the battery and cleaned the terminals. When I turn the key I can hear a whirring sound, which I assume is the fuel pump, before it stops a short while later.

I had a vehicle like that. Started fine every time. Very low mileage when i got it too. Never an issue, it ran perfectly for 30 years, then, one day, she divorced me!!

If you can it might be worth checking as thoroughly as you can under the van, removing the under tray if you have one, as well as checking the engine bay, looking for rodent or fox damage to wiring.
It's not unheard of for foxes, mice and rats to nibble away at the wiring.
It shouldn't cost you more than an hour of your time.
Also, do you have access to a code reader?

I live in mid Devon.
I had mr rear brake pipes nibbled through.
Obviously not the copper lol.
