I bought the van with delivery mileage on it from VW Bridgewater and have used it as a daily driver and weekend/ holiday camping vehicle
I had it professionally soundproofed, insulated and carpeted
Had a 12-volt leisure battery fitted with CTEK D250SA battery charger, added USB sockets in the rear
Added swivel front seats- Captains Chairs ( driver and passenger)
Added an under bonner 240v hook up with one 13 amp socket inside
Added LED ceiling lights and two lights in the tailgate - very useful when camping.
Rear side windows have quality curtains installed, wrap round front black out and rear blackout screen also included with the van
Roof rails fitted
I also installed two easily removable wooden units from Van Furniture, which can easily be removed. These units provide a sleeping platform and cooking/ storage area. A fridge fits neatly between the two units.
C section discreet awning rail fitted under left hand roof rails
The vehicle is great as a daily driver as it fits in parking spaces and under most height barriers. Fuel economy is impressive with 45MPG + easily achieved on a run, late 30’s - early 40’s around town
