2017 engine cxf

Hello. My engine broke down. 2017 2.0tdi 110kw cxf, is it possible to put with different motor code? or only cxf? some vw engines is not much different, example, differnet engine holder, missing egr hole on engine block, but possible to make it. and more... somebody have experence with it?

Is it not cheaper to repair your engine?

We will see next week, when my mechanic open it, but it seems like somebody fixed before and did wrong...
