2014 T5.1 DSG DMF

Hi,

I have a T5.1 140 DSG @ 120,000 miles. Slight rattle on idle, suspect new DMF needed. In the Oxford area. Some of the prices quoted have made my eyes water. An independent has quoted £720 for the flywheel + labour.
Also, would you advise changing clutch pack at the same time? There are no shifting issues but seems to make sense given the box will be out. As such independent specialist has quoted 2871 incl vat(!)

The clutch pack is part of the DSG box.

Id just replace the DMF...

It's a common part to replace. .... . And a gearbox out job. So labour intensive.
